Chinatown - Chinese New Year Decorations
Beautifully ornate roofline of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
Chinese Lanterns lining the eaves of the temple, lighting the walkway.
Side doors to the temple.
The hussle and bustle of the crowds in Chinatown.
The streets are a sea of red lanterns, garlands, oversized decorations and even street  pillars wrapped in red fabric.
A large "tangerine tree" in the median of the main road.
2008's Rats leading in 2009's oxen. Images and statues of oxen can be found everywhere - most of them them like "daisy the cow" though! A little more "people friendly"....?

Singapore Civic District / Clark Quay / Boat Quay
The Esplanade Bridge in the foreground with the "microphone inspired" theaters in the background.
Cavenaugh Bridge, the only suspension bridge in Singapore. It was built in Scotland in 1868 and reassembled in Singapore in 1869. It was built too low and boats had to wait until low tide to be able to pass underneath!
