Pearl Shopping in Suzhou
If you look carefully you can see small pipes sticking out the water. These are the ponds where they seed and farm the pearls.
Looking down from the second floor - this is about a quarter of the whole center. The things hanging off the table that look like fabric are actually strands of pearls.
Stringing a pearl necklace. See the bags of pearls in the background!
Maxine's School Trip to Jingdezhen
Our ayi, Wang Yi, in her new winter coat, hat and scarf that we gave her for her birthday.
Nanjing Snow!
The view front our front door and along our road.
Ouch!
A poor magnolia tree that just snapped in half. And our smallest magnolia barely holding up against the weight of the snow.
Taken around 10am Monday morning.
The basketball courts and the clubhouse in the background, looking very picturesque in the snow.
I think I need to name my lamp-post! She's wearing a beautiful white stole and hat today!
