Max and Syd having fun on the playground.
The view of our living room area as you walk in the front door. This is another "happy" wall housing a display of some of the things we've collected on our travels around Asia.
Our bedroom - see the "minty green" walls!
My happy green wall in the kitchen. It's not quite as bright as this picture shows it to be, but almost! The pantry is on the left, the door to the laundry on the right.
The other side of our kitchen, with my Container Store spice rack that I love. The trees outside the wonderful windows block views from any neighbors. Look - it's the new oven!
Maxine's purple room. I've been asked to put in a disclaimer that this room is in progress. She's still got to hang all her pictures, as well as her silver curtains.
Sydney's turquoise bedroom, seen through the sparkly beads in her doorway. Yes, they drive us all crazy!
The view out of our living room French door onto the patio/balcony. Behind the trees is Purple Mountain. Unfortunately you can't see it so well today with the overcast, rain-filled sky.
The view out the same door, facing right. The edge of our property is only about 6 feet from the balcony but we get the benefit of all the trees in the neighbors yard. Plus the hedge stops all the leaves blowing into our yard!
Some pictures of our house....
Our ceramics shopping trip...
Look at all these beautiful plates....
Plates in their storage "section".

Walking the through streets of the market at FuZi Miao Confucious Temple.
There's a stall where you can dress up in Chinese traditional costumes and have your picture taken. I tried to talk Maxine and Sydney into it but they weren't interested.
This is about all we could talk them into posing for....
Look pj's for 15 rmb - that's about US2.25!
You want which box???
A typical traditional Chinese restaurant
Hmmmm, Burger King and Haagen Dazs. And Southlake thought their shops were fancy looking!
